seems the typical online comparison is Al Jefferson. not the most mobile big man supposedly which makes him a hard fit for Stevens system.


Bassey is the big kid that I wanna see how he ends this year, he COULD be a young Horford type

On his you tube video he looks mobile enough, he’s a classic big that can do damage in the paint and has a good mid range shot....one never knows how they will do at the next level. Has huge wingspan, surprisingly good ball handler.

I like Bassey too, better athlete and shot blocker than Naz....

As the likely Memphis pick fades into darkness for this year it's future value has a mystical quality about it. It is a very valuable pick if Boston decides to use it in a AD trade.

If the cost to get AD is more than what Danny is willing to pay then Boston will be in a great position to move forward with the core of this team (minus Morris and Rozeir ) and address some positional needs during the draft.

There is no downside here.
