Re: Hoopshype aggregate mock draft rankings
I will be watching, but it certainly will not be the same. NBC/sports is going to run a special pre draft show, don't know if I can take that much of Draper, but Al Jefferson is supposed to be on the show, which I find interesting. Perk and Scal, naturally will be there.
I have no idea about who would be the best pick for them or who they should move up to, but I do know that I do not want him to use all four picks again this year. We have enough youth and we need a couple of good veterans.
Will there be a move tonight with Hayward and a package of picks to somewhere? I doubt it, they just want to drive me totally insane. I have decided that whoever wears #20 again will not become one of my favorites!!!! That number is bad luck !!!

Who is broadcasting the draft? ESPN? I don't get the Boston sports channels, but it would be nice to see Big Al again.

Re: Hoopshype aggregate mock draft rankings
If Boston is able to move up and draft the kid out of USC they should do it. That is plan A. Plan B still provides an opportunity to add an athletic frontline player and the choice is between Achuiwa and Jalen Smith. I would take Achuiwa because of his strength and overall athleticism. Smith is the better developed outside 3 point shooter. Smith may lack the size and girth to play in the post. Achuiwa is a freak athlete.
With the 26th pick in the draft the Celtics should draft the best available shooter and if there is a real hot prospect above that they should consider a trade up.
With the 30th pick in the draft the Celtics should draft a PG. This draft is loaded at the point so even that late in the draft provides Boston with a chance to find one.
At some point Boston could and should consolidate 47, 30 and 26 to add a high quality prospect.
They should not package all 3 first rounders unless they get the guy they really want.
Their draft selections however may also be impacted by the GH conundrum.

Assuming we keep the picks (unlikely) they have us taking Nesmith with 14, Isaiah Stewart with 26 and Tyler Bey @ 30.

That could happen but we know that both Achuiwa and Smith have interviewed with the Celtics so the interest must be there.
If rumors are accurate that Boston is trying to move up for Onyeka Okongwu it just seems a similar type of player would also be on their radar.
If GH is traded to Indy and we get back Turner then I could see them switch their attention to a wing or a PG.

Apparently it’s a broken toe.
