Watching the Phi-Bos game, the league/refs let the 6ers get away with push offs that would be called on the Raptors every time.

Boston is going to be worse than they were last year. No doubt in my mind. That means they're likely to get ~45 wins and be eliminated by us in the second round, if they can nab the 4th seed; which will be a dogfight between them, the Nets, and maybe Pacers.

I'm shocked how many people have them penciled into 3rd after losing Horford and replacing Irving with Walker. I don't care how much nicer Walker is to his celtics team mates. He's not as good as Irving.

So the Celtics aren’t starting a true PF? Siakam is gonna feast on Jaylen, Tatum or Hayward.

Siakam can probably just big boy him, especially with no horford to help.

Raptors probably taking the L because they always lose in Boston.

Take a look at Boston's bench. Maybe Hayward torches us but if we play our defence better than against the Pels no probem - big W.

I still can't stand the Celtics. They aren't going to be as good as everyone thinks they'll be.

Every body worries about our depth but I look at Boston and philly and they don't have any better depth.

It's funny to me that the Celtics are still considered to be one of the top teams in the East. I honestly think that they are a fringe playoff team and will finish 8th this year. They have no depth, and their top guys aren't even that good. Raps win.

there's a lot of bad teams in the east. They will win games simply by outworking the opponents. They'll challenge for seeds 3-6.

Raptors became a franchise in 1995. Since then, Celtics 1 title, raptors 1 title.

Boston really came out hard playing with a lot of energy and intensity for their home opener. The days of teams not taking the Raps seriously are over when you're the champs you get everyones best shot.

Kemba has been horrific.

Kind of an ugly, boring game. The intensity level between these 2 teams is way down from last year.

Tatum is such a chucker, this team went from one of the best futures in the league to having two huge contract guys in Brown and Tatum who maybe would be a 3rd option on a championship contender. (I know tatum doesn't have his contract yet but he will get it)

Malloy couldn't allow the Celtics to lose here. NBA needs them too much. I was pretty unimpressed with them overall, though. The Raptors are better than that team, especially when Gasol remembers how to play basketball again.
