Tristen Thompson ?
Anyone else hear the Tristen Thompson to the C’s rumor?

No. And not interested. He is slow, one dimensional and only under contract till the end of this season.

Absolutely not. He makes $18.5 million. So even if Boston liked him they would have a problem matching salaries.

Not sure the Celtics have the cap space, but if they could swing it - as Kyle said, I could see him as a buyout candidate in March to play down the stretch. But in the current offense, he is too slow, cant shoot, is terrible at the free throw line and is not a rim protector. I would rather see the Celtics play out the next few months and see where things stand.
Right now, the Celtics are not being dramatically out rebounded - which is about the only thing Thompson brings to the table.
