Saw him match up with Willis Reed and he was definitely taller than the 6’9” Reed

JoJo was an in the Olymics prior to being selected by the Celtics, He also was traded in the later part of his career to the GSWarriors. That trade just about killed him, he was such a proud Celtic. Fortunately, after he retired they brought him back to be part of the Community Relations dept. His death was one of the saddest things in Boston Celtic history as he was employed and in sight of all fans so much of the time. I remember when he had brain surgery, I read a story that he had to learn how to talk, walk and communicate all over again. He became diminutive in stature when you saw him on the floor, but he never lost his smile. A true Celtic
