Danny had a chance to pay TRo a chunk of money. Instead he hung on to Brad Wanamaker for almost no money, peanuts, and signed Kemba for beaucoup. Our discussion really should be about what a deal we got signing Wanny. Next year he is a UFA, and he won't come so cheap.

Current Contract
Brad Wanamaker signed a 1 year / $1,445,697 contract with the Boston Celtics, including $1,445,697 guaranteed, and an annual average salary of $1,445,697. In 2019-20, Wanamaker will earn a base salary of $1,445,697, while carrying a cap hit of $1,445,697 and a dead cap value of $1,445,697.

I know nothing about the cap, so I can only say, that in Wannamaker's case, if he so chooses, he can go elsewhere but I do not know what anyone else will have available either. He has been a steady ballplayer for us, fits in well with everyone and has been given the chance of a lifetime to play for a winning team. I know money makes the world go round and he, I am sure, is going to be looking for a good payday. It is too bad because he fits well with this team.

I'm not gonna get in a big debate about who is better, but for this team I certainly like him better coming off the bench in his role than Rozier.
