Celtics Vs Heat - Keys To Victory

Game 2 tonight provides a chance for the Celtics to get back on track in this ECF.

Some keys to winning (add yours)

#1 get out on their shooters - they shot 16-36 from deep.  That's 44.1%..  You can begin by getting out on Jae Crowder who went 7-11 and 5-9 from deep.  9 of his 11 shots were 3 pointers.  Dragic also hurt us on 3-6 and he was the one who got the ball rolling for them.

#2 Theis is physically over-matched by Bam but we are going to need more from him than going 2-3 for 4 points and only 4 rebounds.  He still makes stupid fouls and the refs called 6 on him in game one.  He would do well to stop all the hacking and reaching in and he needs to get to his rebounding position quicker as Bam beat him to the punch way too many times.

#3 Brad mentioned bad shots and pounding the ball during his post game comments.  Smart said we need to clean a few things up.  The Celtics need to play with more pace and not allow the Heat to get their trick or treat defense set up.  They need to move the ball and be willing to make the next pass.  Don't get beat by the shot clock.

#4 This is a must win game because I picked them in 5.  I'm losing money here.

#5  Go to Brad Wanamaker if kemba's defense continues to stink

Listed as questionable which likely means he ain't suiting up. He'll be back soon I hope but the Celtics just have to go about the business of winning without him like they did in Rounds 1 and 2

Jae Crowder won't shoot 5-9 from the three-point line. He is not that consistent.

Less quick threes and more ball movement. Less iso-ball and more ball movement.

More ball movement.

Last game was a gift win for the Heat. No more gifts.

Probably not but he went into the game shooting 40% from deep.

I think using more than a few seconds of the shot clock in order to actually run a play or find a shot might pay dividends.

Other than that sticking to Butler and Bam like glue can't hurt.
