Celtics vs Heat game 4 keys to Victory

The Celtics will be looking to tie up the ECF with a win tonight vs the Heat.

It appears they are back on track after their first 2 disappointing losses.  If they plan to win game 4 they will need to:

Play 48 minutes of quality basketball

Finish cleaning up a few things such as their P N R defense to contain Bam and reduce their TO's more.  They had 14 in game 3 which is still way too many and was impacted by mental errors more so than going against the Heat defense.

To shut them down, you have to be solid in the PNR defense and get out on their shooters.

On offense identify and attack their defense whether they are in a zone or playing man to man.  Keep setting good screens by moving and pass the ball to keep it from sticking.  Use better judgement in shot selection both in terms of getting more quality looks as well as being mindful of how the shot clock impacts quality shots.

We need a high level of energy and intensity that translates into winning those 50/50 balls.

TURNOVERS!

They exploited Kemba, got switches to make him defend. We tried to help him, further exposing our defense.

We were a turnover machine, you can’t win playing that sloppy.

The turnovers are on the players and the coach, sloppy sloppy sloppy.

How could we come out so flat and look so unprepared? Team is not ready yet, but what pisses me off is we are more talented and better, but we are playing so damn stupid and sloppy. Make the other team earn it, we gave too many games, possessions away this series.

We were still in a position to tie/win at the end. Yep, lots of turnovers. Not sure of the discussion on Herro and just letting him run loose. 3 point victory.

Now there is no room for error. All the games are G7's. Twice in our history we've come from 3 down. In 1981, we were the better team vs. PHI. Not sure of the other one. Time to make it 3 in our history.
