Hayward chose Charlotte. He better get used to it.

Yep. Welcome to Charlotte. Where (great) players go to disappear.

Lots of upsets last night.
Phoenix beat Dallas
Utah beat Portland "in Portland"
New Orleans beat Toronto "in Toronto"
Orlando beat Miami
The reason why I made a point of highlighting who had the home game losses is because IF, at some point in this season, fans are allowed to attend games again these home losses will matter more.

So Nick Wright thinks that Jason Tatum’s shot was crap and he should not get all the credit for winning the game because Giannis missed a free throw????? Well, the NBA has said that the foul on Tristan Thompson should not have been called so, Giannis would not have been at the free throw line to be a hero and a chump

There are only four unbeaten teams remaining in the NBA.
There are not four people in the universe that said these would be the four...
(Cavs last 3-0 start without LeBron? 2000-2001)
Bob
MY NOTE: Certainly not in any universe I inhabit, but even with only 72 games it's still a mini-marathon and not a sprint. It's about who's peaking at the right time and the right time is the playoffs...

Dinwiddie with a partially torn ACL takes a bit of steam out of the Nets.

that is a shame, not that I care a bit about the Nets, in fact I hope they implode, but that kid had worked hard on his game, then the a.....e showed up and took the basketball out of his hands and he was just another player. I know he has a healthy contract, but it is still lousy to watch a guy go down like that.

dboss,
I read an article, take it with a grain of salt as it's speculation, that said Dinwiddie's injury moves the Celtics up into the inside position on the Harden trade since any trade with Brooklyn would have included Dinwiddie.

If Danny pursues the JH trade I am through with him for good. I expect him to take calls but I do not expect him to move a young dynamic young man who now calls himself a Bostonian.
I am happy to roll with this team through thick and thin even as the years between our last banner widens. I am not rollin with them anymore if they dare to move Smart, Tatum or Brown for some halfwit ball hog that has never won anything for his team.
I hope that Celtics fans understand we have a solid foundation to build on and the only reason we have yet to win is because Danny Ainge tried to replicate the 08 team by going after allstar players. That time has passed because we now have our own allstar level homegrown players. There are few players around the league that you could add that are better than the ones we already have.

Re: This and that around the League 20-21
This is one time I am in agreement. I have said from the beginning, watching that ball hog on the Boston Celtics would kill me. I am not sure I would be able to tolerate it especially since I have been a Jaylen fan from the beginning.
Trade for what???? a year, two years of a bloated contract with a bloated player. I do not care how good a scorer he is. It will kill growth and development of a young team, with a great young man just beginning to show how good he can be. Chemistry????out the window.
Keep him in Houston or Siberia, or wherever, just not Boston

Re: This and that around the League 20-21
So Nets lost Spencer Dinwiddie for season torn ACL....putting some more pressure on Kyrie, luckily Lavert can also play point. Glad we have competent points even without Kemba in Smart, JT and the electrifying PP.....
Oh shit didn’t see you guys already had this covered....my bad

With Rozier and Hayward, Charlotte appears to be a much improved team. Graham, Bridges and Biyombo add to the mix and Ball is looking like he might just be the real deal after all. Not a contender for anything by any stretch, but a more entertaining team to watch.

I’m curious to see how if GH can hold up this season....great so far watching 2 J’s flourish with added responsibility, can’t wait to see how this team looks in a couple months with Kemba and Romeo back. Early but love what I’m seeing from Jaylen, RWill, PP and Teague has had some good moments. Jayson hasn’t gotten started fully yet, but it’s coming.

Re: This and that around the League 20-21
Just utilizing my LP and looking around (sorry Sam!) the league, ATL is going to be one of those teams that bumps one of the expected Top 5 (MIL, MIA, BKN, BOS or PHI) to the lower half tier in the East come playoff time.
ATL has given BKN all they can handle, (which to date we have failed miserably) and we haven't played ATL yet. I'd mark up an "L" for us in the mode of what BKN has done to us so far if that match up is anytime soon before KW comes back.
John Wall in HOU is making up for lost injury time. Gone/going nuts in his first two games. Almost a 3D first game. (JH sitting out tonight with right ankle sprain.) Provided JW stays healthy and JH sees, determines HOU may be back in the race in the West and decides to stay, they may just make it to the WCF. Their starting 5 scoring looks like ours should. Everybody in double figures. Of course, this is against the perennial cellar-dweller SAC, but it's a start. Just a heads up.

Framingham-based Jack’s Abbey is now “the official craft beer of the Boston Celtics,” complete with a team-approved hoppy lager called Pride and Parquet.

I never would have put those two together but far be it from me to turn down an opportunity to sample another new beer on the market! In a 16oz can to boot! 4 additional ounces of joy and deliciousness!

Dante Exum has a strained calf and will miss 1-2 months. Must be one helluva strain.
Rondo out 3 games to rest his knee.

Agreed!
They distribute all over the place in Western NY, but I can't seem to locate Pride and Parquet. That one might be regional. So if you can get some, let us know how you like it!
If you like pale ales and IPAs and haven't tried Hoponius Union, also from Jack's Abby, give that one a shot.

Kyrie dresses up his self-absorption in social justice justifications. He is a bullshit artist extraordinaire.
