Bob,

I believe that potential draftees have their height and weight checked and that those measurements are accurate. After that, players and/or teams take liberties with heights and weights as they please to fit their agendas. Glen Davis is shorter than he'd like to be, so he says he's 6-9 (which is his currently listed height), even though he's 6-7 3/4 (as measured prior to the draft). Shaq doesn't want people to say, My God! He's 360! so he lists himself as 325.

It may have made your day. But I hear the Celtics have hired an engineering firm to appraise the structural foundation of TD Garden. AND thinking of naming it "Tonnage Dilemma Garden."

I can see this could be a real fun season no matter what happens.
