Celts @ Bucks Round 2 Game 5 - Pregame Thoughts

Swing games are so important.  Game 5 is the one where we can established our dominance over them.  They had a chance to take a commanding 3-1 lead but they choked.  As I coined it out..They can run but they cannot hide.

Rob is listed as questionable for the game tonight.  The Celtics should be cautious.

I think the Bucks will have to make some changes.  Al Horford has been killing them.  Remember that Hawks series a few year back when Al made just about every shot?  They were all midrange mostly.  He is doing the same thing to the Bucks except these are 3 pointers.    They are going to have to send someone out there to check AH.  And when you do that it will open up more driving lanes.  

The Bucks will be in the business of delaying the inevitable.  They will come out and play hard and they will lose.

The Celtics control their own destiny.    There are no 'how to' questions to be answered.  Our guys already know exactly what they need to do to win tonight's game.  They have to stay in the moment and execute Ime's game plan.  As this series moves on, a healthy disregard for your opponent is a good things if it stimulates some aggravation.  The biggest blunder of this series may very well be Giannis trying to show up Al Horford.  You do not do that to a longtime professional and really nice guy like Al.

Pivotal game today. The Celts got surprised in Game 1. The Bucks had a let down in Game 2.

The Celts were running a little low on belief in Games 3 and 4. I am hoping that the Game 4 win gets them going again.

It will be great if they come out strong and have an easier game. Otherwise we may be looking at another gut it out, can go any way, game.

We have had a Jaylen Brown game and and Al Horford game in this series. We need to have another "somebody" game today.

We still haven't seen but maybe one game in the playoffs that resembled our last half of the season. (G2) Will tonight be the night?!
