Rondo trouble

Sorry to see this. RR is my second fav Celtic (after Bird). His artistry at the PG was the best I've ever seen. But admiring a person's talent does not mean you admire them as a person. Bobby Knight was a terrific college coach, but an a-hole. Ted Nugent is a loon, but I still enjoy Stranglehold. The artist and the artist are not the same. RR has shown some anger management issues in the past but this, if valid, is not an excusable little temper tantrum like throwing a soda at a TV. He needs help. And it was assumed that he would turn into a head coach as soon as he retired. That future may be in doubt now, though who knows (e.g., Jason Kidd).

Sincerely sorry to see this. If this is true, I hope he gets any help he needs.

I don't recall seeing anything like this out of Rondo.

He's a highly intelligent person who has made positive contributions to communities in each of his NBA stops.

Hopefully this is at worst a one-off event. Still not excusable if true.

So far no charges filed and all we know is her side of the story. Without the gun it would amount to no more than a man losing his temper in an argument with his ex. Except for the gun part. No mention of physical contact with her but the gun bit, if true, is inexcusable.

Innocrnt until proven guilty but it sounds bad.
