The Celtics host the Nets tonight at 7:30.

The Nets have lost 6 out of their last 7 games. My perception is that the Nets are not a very good team. They are currently in 6th place in the East and if things do not turn around soon they could fall all the way down to the playin round.

The facts support my perception. The Nets have surrendered 122.5 points on average in those 6 losses.

The Celtics will still need to stay focused on the job at hand. I fully expect a win tonight. It appears that we will have a full roster (-Gallo) Simmons, Watanabe and Summer will be out for the Nets. The Celtics are favored (-11.5) If the Nets continue to play Swiss Cheese defense the Celtics should cover the spread.

It will be interesting to see if Grant gets back into the rotation. Grant has played pretty good in 3 games this year vs the Nets (9.3 PPG, 50% shooting and 33% from deep plus 4 rebounds)

I would like to see Muscala get some run but he is no alternate for Grant.
