Me thinks Red said instead-
“Ain’t gonna be much playing for you around these parts young fella. You see that big ole #6 is commanding and standing in your way and he gonna be there for a minute which means you have a better chance of getting struck by lightning twice in the same place before you even think about getting off that pine.

This here little Tyke who despite growing up in California was a diehard Celtic Fan. Today he is well known for breaking records and winning championships. Do know who this little Tyke be?

*1973 Assist Leader-11.4
*6x NBA AII-Star-1973, 1974, 1975, 1976, 1980, 1981, and 1982
*5x ALL NBA-
Nate was an All-NBA First Team selection three times (1973, 1975, 1976) and an All-NBA Second Team selection two times (1972, 1981).
More importantly Nate was a BOSTON CELTIC….
Once a Celtic, always a Celtic.

This is my good friend and Mentor the late Ken Hudson. The very first African American NBA official.
The man who single-handily (with the help of others)-) formulated what was to become the renowned “Boston Shootout”.
As you can see, this man was short in stature but took no crap from anyone including the much taller egotistical motor mouth former Boston sub- Bill Walton.
“Looka here Red. God only lets things grow until they are perfect. Some of us didn’t take as long as others!"

Did the “Boston Six” play in the early Boston Shootout? Haven’t thought about them in a long time, just tried to name them all and came up one short. First memories of great hoop being played in Boston area.
