KG joins the 35,000 club

I noticed that with last night's game KG joined an exclusive and mighty impressive club (which now numbers 15) of having a combined 35,000 points and rebounds in his career. Here is the list (though not in order):

Jordan

If you include ABA stats, Artis Gilmore and Dr. J make it 17 players.

If the Celtics realized this they'd probably point it out. Maybe Sam, who knows how to contact them, could call Jeffrey Twiss and he could throw it out there for what its worth. Like I said, it's something I think pretty interesting that I just noticed after last night's game. Not anything I read anywhere, its just something cool that people aren't even aware of.

and the only 2 active guys on that list.. are both celtics and the C's have 4 guys who have worn the Green among that number, somethign else i noticed about that list.

Was curious as to Havlicek?

he had 34,402 and is just outside this list but add his playoff total of over 4,100 combined he probably moves ahead of a lot of these guys even if you added their playoff totals.

Thanks for the number Sam. I just called them (was out all day) and they said Jeff is on the road with the Celtics but another person in the PR department thanked me for the news and said they would get it to him and his assistant Brian. I told them it would be old news after the next game but it's a pretty significant tidbit at the moment. They agreed.
