Getting their butts kicked, down by 23, OKC cocky bunch, here is hoping they come out fired up in second half as OKC was taunting at the end of the quarter

I wonder if the back and forth for those 4 guys took it’s toll on the Maine players. No legs

Too bad, they lost. I really think the guys traveling back and forth really had no energy. Queta, Peterson, Walsh and Davidson just could not get it done. The brass was all there to support them, that was great. Oh well, let’s just hope this is just one of those things

I can assure you, if the two Finals match up, the result will be quite different in our favor. Brad, Coach Joe and the Celtics have not come all this way to lose to a bunch of young-ins playing out of their brains and way over their heads.

Queta was sick. He wasn't even sure he'd play. He gutted it out but ran out of gas eventually.
Walsh tweaked an ankle in the 1st quarter.
Lot of travel, and a fair amount of playing time, in the last 5 days for these guys.
Maine had the home court advantage. They lost. A lesson to be learned for the Boston Celtics. NOBODY who has a chance to get to the Finals, much less actually get all the way to the Finals, are going to just roll over just because they have to win on the road.

Re: Maine Celtics
I watched alot of that game, it seems to me like they just had no legs, period. Missing shots that they normally would have made. Lesson, to me, is they pushed these guys too hard in the final five or six days, flying home to be on the end of the bench for the Knicks game and running them back and forth. This is too bad, these guys really wanted to win this title, and should have been given the right to get the proper rest and play healthy I know they loved being with the big team, but, their first job was to play for Maine (except for Queta)
