Someone has to lose.........

Just a quick check of the remaining schedule of the top 6 teams SA, BOS, DALLAS, CHI, MIAMI, and LAL and the games left against each other. Someone has to lose these games. Plus there are other good teams that will pull out wins agains all of these teams, hopefully we can take care of business and avid as many of those as possible. best record is certainly within eyesight.

both the Spurs Lakers and us have 3 tough road games left, the other three have just 1.
Should be a very interesting race for both the conferences and overall best record.

I could easily see them going 2-3 in this stretch, 1-4 if Orlando bushwacks them.

LAL are 1 game in the loss column behind Chicago and Miami and are a couple behind Dallas. Phil Jackson himself has said this road trip is a "make or break" trip. He says he's watching Chicago carefully, and doesn't want to fall behind them any further. Interesting, not Miami, Chicago.

Aside from heading into playoff mode, and so you don't want to go into a losing streak now, a bad road trip here most likely dooms them to a minimum of 2, if not 3, playoff series without homecourt advantage.

Nobody is saying much about Chicago but interestingly enough...they could end up with #1 in the East. I don't think that they are taken seriously enough as a contender. Imagine the Bulls in the finals... ya it's tough but...not completely out of the realm of possibility.

I think this weekend worked out about as good as it could for us, except for maybe CHI could have lost one to put them a game further back of us for cushion. Indeed, someone has to lose. Every game is very big for us. Can't afford a slip. CHI's schedule should look pretty good to us given their rash of loses to nobodys.
