sam wrote:Hey Swede. I hope that signature of yours is a tongue-in-cheek comment. I've heard disquieting things about the depressing effects of extended darkness in Sweden, and I hope it's not really effecting you adversely. If it is, I'm sure you'd find lots of us eager to talk with you about it, either on or off the board. And I hope the Celtics soon bring lifted spirits your way.
Sam
It is not really tongue in cheek as such. I have been feeling pretty down for a long period of time, being in Estonia was not really good for me, I felt too socially isolated with noone I really knew except for my partner (not that I am overly social either way). This lead to me feeling worse over time and closing up into a shell and not really being that fun to her or other people. Then in a moment of weakness I kind of let myself into the "if you guys really like each other you will find your way back together" and she found someone else.
Now I am mostly regretting doing that although it was sort of necessary for me to "wake up" out of my depression induced coma. Now I can feel things again which was something I did not really do for a long period of time, I could not feel good about myself which lead to me not being able to accept other peoples love for me or really show affection for them.
Now I feel again which means I am able to express feelings and happiness but also that I am able to feel the sorrow and missing of her being gone, which I am not sure if it is forever or just for now, time will tell on that one. In a way I have never felt more alive and appreciating of life but with being able to feel happiness and joy also comes the ability to feel the severe pain and missing.

Now to run one needs to take 2 steps? BFD?
Geesh any running motion begins with one I thought?
I'm outta here.

Good.
Taking one step is not running.
swede,
There is nothing else I can say if you think Wade hit into Paul harder then Fisher hit into Scola.

I dont know about "harder" but there is definitely more force (pure physics) in Wade on Pierce, Wades whole body is moving forward.
Only reason Pierce is standing up is because he is leaning into Wade/being prepared/wanting to stand up. Scola is on his heels and honestly probably not that interested in standing up.
Look at the replay and you will see how Scola situates his body/weight in relation to Fisher. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V5Dge8B2O3s pause at 0:14 and you will see Scola leaning backward pretty much when Fisher hits him, that is why he falls.

Swede,
Clarity of thought and appreciation of life are two "biggies." Unfortunately, they don't discriminate between positive and negative realities. And, unfortunately, confronting the depths is often the price we pay for the ability to embrace the heights. It sounds as though you're doing a great job of paying your dues by working through the pain so as ultimately to open yourself to happiness and joy.
Here's hoping the Celtics can contribute to that process. And you know we're all in your corner too.
Sam

Thanks Sam, I know I am "liked" although I feel out of place at times.
Hey, in general I am happy I can feel sadness and pain again. It surely beats feeling nothing.
Enough of me now though, this is a Celtics postgame thread.

Swede:
You should download or buy a copy of the 1980-'81 Classic Frankie Beverly & Maze Song, "Joy & Pain". It would have special meaning for you and like they used to do on Ally McBeal you could make it your theme song. "Float On" The Floaters from 1977, just a directive don't take that title as your theme music!
MD.
