I remember those games,he actually was on floor when Knicks set a record for consecutive victorys and I saw that game live as a kid.The Cooz could still bring the ball up the floor against Walt Frazier who at that time was best defensive guard playing. cow

I'm not terribly sure of this but I think Cousy actually hurt himself a bit ( I don't think it was serious ie pulled muscle or something "minor") the true last time he played. And at the age of 40 stuck to the bench as a Coach only.
