A point in your defense, as we are on the eve of the Olympics remember the screw job from the 1972 Olympic's.

Refs can not only blow calls but so can people "above" them.

And once in a while that can cause or cost a championship or in that case the GOLD!

Sometimes you struggle the entire game but manage to keep it close and have a shot in the end..........then "that" happens.

I remember well in 1976 in the deciding playoff game in Buffalo (game 6 I believe) McAdoo is called for a foul against JoJo with no time left. White made the foul shots to end that game and that series. All I heard then was how Buffalo got robbed.... was there contact, and should have it been called?

Marcus and I were sitting at a local baseball game the other eve, guy lines a shot down the left field line we were sitting with a clean view and good angle to look down the line, ball landed about a foot fair and the ump called it foul.
The 3rd base coach pleaded and argued (probably should have got tossed) I think the ump knew he blew it but after he had made the call there was no changing it, what would he have done with the runners and the batter?

Bad calls happen, gotta accept them but don't ever have to like um.
