Cavaliers Waive Luke Harangody

In further proof that stellar collegiate careers don't always translate into stellar pro careers.

Too bad, I always liked Luke. A very smart player who worked his butt off. Just too small for 4, too slow for 3, but I thought his shooting range, grit and nose for the ball would help him find a niche. I have a blind spot for tweeners (and a soft spot for smart players). I didn't see Kelly Tripucka, Chris Mullin or even Adrian Dantley coming, but I thought I was getting better with Luke. Nope. I just have to accept that I'm blind as a bat in this area.

Unfortunately, our needs don't fit his talents. Maybe it's time for him to learn greek or russian.
