Lost 37-36

We led most of the game and had a 4 point lead 36-32 with 3 minutes to go but a couple of bad shots and turnovers and never scored again.
team had 26 turnovers in the 32 minute game. Just too many as each one represents one less field goal attempt and when you lose by 1, well we all can figure that out.

Marcus sat a good chunk of the 4th and went in with a minute or so left and a 1 point lead for us. He was wide open for a good look but a travel call was made prior to him getting the ball. (he buried the shot after the whistle blew, which would have given us a three point lead)

His line was 6 points 3-5 fgs no threes attempted. 1 missed foul shot (on an and one) 4 rebounds 2 steals 1 turnover 1 foul. Played about 20 minutes total. Passed up what appeared to be some good looks but he was a bit nervous too. He scored all six of his points in the third (six of the 8 we scored as a team) game was tied 26-26 after 3.

Defensively coach had them in a 2-3 zone all game.

Next game Thursday in Lowville a bit smaller school and based on last year should be a very winable game.
