If we just let Pierce go for free, he'd add alot to any contending team....imagine him coming off the bench for the Heat, Spurs or Bulls, he could really help them and help all those teams alot more than Ray Allen.

Rosie if we buy him out for 5 mill he can go anywhere he wants....he could still help alot of teams, he'd fit in perfect with Bulls or Spurs, could you imagine him with D Rose, Deng, Boozer and Noah? I'll leave the country if he went to the Heat, Danny better not be too stupid.

Cow, I'm still interested in the process by which the Celtics can "give away" any players with guarantees for the upcoming season without taking back equivalent salary. If they waive a player, he still counts toward the cap. Please tell me exactly how a team "gives away" a player who has a guaranteed contract.

I elected to go on a tangent by focusing on mock drafts, since you brought them up. Actually, neither Adams nor Dieng was predicted as going to the Celts, but I mentioned Adams because I had previously posted about him.

Al Jefferson back in a Celtics uniform would be nice. Milsap however is a really good offensive player but a tweener at the 4.

I have no idea who may be traded or drafted but I think those events could impact one another.

All I want is a big bodied center who can run, play defense, block out, rebound (on both ends) and make the outlet pass. Anything else he could do would be gravy, but not so important as far as I'm concerned.
