Re: The Case For Rajon Rondo
I could be a happy man with Rondo hitting 5 of 7 from the FT line on a regular basis. I didn't mind the two clankers in a row. He got his focus back and made 3 in a row when it mattered. I liked his mid range jumper too when it mattered. Of course, this wasn't the Lakers or the Magic. This was a team who hung around far longer than they should have... but I liked Rondo's all around play tonight.
Kudos to RR! Nice game, fella. Gritty!

I'd say Rondo came to play tonite,I don't know who Jennings scored his 50 off of,but theres no way he can come close to that on us.Rondo came thisclose to a triple double, loved the way he defended and constantly got in heart of the defense.Rondo with his speed, clinginess and hands and wingspan took away alot of stuff from Jennings that normally doesn't happen.

Cow,
"Clinginess" Is that a technical basketball term? Whatever it is, I like it. It certainly does describe Rajon last night.

Too young to remember Manners, the butler???? Shame on you!

Clingliness.... I thought immediately of the ancient Kleenex paper towel commercial with "Manners", the butler, who explained that the Kleenex paper towel would cling to your lap for the entire meal, just like a cloth towel... except that it was paper.

Even better, Rondo was like a wet cloth towel who clung to Jennings lap last night for the "whole game."
Jennings had a very wide assortment of funky and not so funky, i.e. elegant... floaters in the paint though. NIFTY!!! I was green with envy.

Mighty cocky kid for sure. A HS math wizzard I read.
I wonder if he can (1) calculate his own FT% in his head? and/or (2) if he can't, can he count using fingers, toes, whatever... to the number 46?
