Thanks guys. Yeah, the Bucks were written off as tanking when Jabari went down. But Thon Maker replaced him and had a much better +/- the rest of the way as the Bucks played dramatically better the rest of the season.

A friend of mine has a brother, Matt Winick, who was the oldest and longest serving employee of the NBA. http://careers.nba.com/2015/08/18/matt-winick/
For ten years he was Adam Silver's mentor, and he was #2 on the NBA totem pole behind David Stern. They even waived the   NBA mandatory retirement age of 65 for him for a while.

I'm wondering, if they don't do that for Thon Maker, will he have to retire next year or the year after?
