The plan that I envisioned is even clearer now.  Boston will try their luck in the lottery and then decide if that pick is a keeper or a trade asset.  I knew the 2017 Nets pick was off limits.  

Danny is still holding all of his cards.  Amazing discipline by him.

looks that way.....but as you say our lack of rebounding will be a problem come playoff time and I think the lack of a secondary player that can get his own shot will be our death come the playoffs.

Rebounding issue not addressed at all, Raptors have added two quality players and on paper at least they may be better than Boston. But it will still take some time for those players to adjust and with not that many game remaining Boston could still hold on to their 2nd place and face Toronto in second round but have home court advantage

The Celtics may add him for the remainder of the year but would have to make a roster cut.

The Celtics frontline may not be strong enough to make it to the ECF.
