Not sure why Vegas has Spurs as favourites. The record this year so far vs the good teams is not great. Looking forward to how Baynes does vs his old team.
If the Celtics are missing Hayward, Brown and Morris while the Spurs hold out Kawhi with Kyle hurt, no injury excuse for the Spurs.
I think Hayward is awesome, and Brown is having a breakout sophomore season, but those guys added up don’t match what Kawhi means to the Spurs.
Have to give them more credit: they’re league-leading, not just east-leading.
Was kinda hoping for spurs lebron rematch, and yes like last time go for the sweep, just like ‘07. 10 years in the making, history repeats itself, but wouldn’t mind meeting up with the C’s if they beat Cavs.
The Lebron/Kyrie Grudge series (which is coming) gets tipped in Boston’s favor by Stevens/Lue.
I don’t know that the Spurs have run up against a defense like this yet. Should be interesting to see how the "Offensive Engine" responds.
Irving is the type of player that the Spurs don’t like to play against. He makes bad shot when he gets going, which will force you to change your defense. Worse, he makes you doubt your defensive instinct.
Brad Stevens is probably the best coach in the League right now and Kyrie is a notorious Spurs killer. They've won 4 in a row, their record speaks for itself, and they still haven't lost to a Western Conference team so far this season.
Revenge's' game
Game will be televised on ESPN, sadly. Get ready to see Pop call numerous timeouts during 2-0 BOS runs. They'll be out of TO's by halftime. Also expect some edgy shit like 5-man substitutions. Pop always tries to be the smartest kid in Special Ed when the lights are on.
Full strength the Spurs are better. Not right now.
Spurs will lose because the Celtics have Kyrie and about 4 similar rookies made on nba2k My Player that will kill the Spurs.
Pop will do his part. Hold out Kawhi. Start Mills or Murray. Play 5 bench players the last two minutes of a close game. He's got this.

We played like complete idiots for most of the half, Kyrie made a million shots, and we’re up one. I’m okay with it.
You can see exactly how the Celtics are going to lose in the post season. They're like the Spurs where when they were missing two of the Big Three back in the day. Sure, if everything goes right, they look great. But they have a lot of scrubs in their rotation, and so long as you don't lose sight of that, you should be able to win.
Jaylen is a freak athlete but takes a lot of bonehead shots. Tatum is talented and the real deal but is young. Horford doesn't rebound. LMA killed him straight up. They chuck a lot... If they get hot they can pull one on you though... But Kyrie can take over a game if he has to, Rozier is a pain. Not unbeatable but a pain for sure.

Horford played really good defense on Aldridge in the game at Boston.
I like Brown a lot. Horford has been great defensively all year (for all the Kyrie MVP talk, I kiiiinda think Horford’s been their best player), I was a little shocked Aldridge took it to him so much tbh.
By the end of the year, I think Tatum will be as good as Haywood last year. What a weird problem to have.
