Heat Waive A.J. Hammons

This is mostly for Cowens. Hammons was his man @ Purdue. Hammons was waived to make room for doddering oldster Dwayne Wade. How embarrassing. A young big couldn't beat out a geriatric 36 year old.

I know nothing about the Miami roster, but you know that someone had to go when Wade was going to show up. Perhaps this Hammons guy just no longer fit, and that there was no competition between the two at all.

he can join Cowens all big man team now!!


he does love those big guys, even the ones who are deep roster fodder at best.

was it Cowens or rambone who was Jonesing for Upshaw a few years ago at draft time?

I wonder what ever happened to him?

oh........... I just read he's in the Lebanese Basketball league now.........just biding his time until someone from the NBA calls I am sure.
