The Celtics play the Cavaliers tonight in Cleveland at 7:00 PM.

It looks like Irving, Tatum, Horford and Williams will be out. That means that Rozier, Baynes, Hayward /Brown will be in the starting lineup.

The Celtics are resting Horford to get him ready for the playoffs because that is very important in increasing the chance for success but at the same time it also makes it more difficult to secure a home court seeding in the first round which also increases the chance for success at least in round 1. Irving will also be resting again.

The Celtics need to win some games here with a shortened roster. The regular season has just 8 games remaining .

Cleveland has no reason to win other than basic pride. They are lottery bound. That makes this a trap game for Boston.

The remaining schedule will be tough as nails. We have 2 games each against Miami and Indiana and also games with Brooklyn and Orlando. Washington is the last game of the year. Everyone else is still in the playoff hunt.

I hope Boston can pull off a win tonight.

Horford and Tatum are back for this game.
