Enes Kanter
@EnesKanter
Keep limiting me on the court,
I will expose you off the court.

Ime Udoka on Enes Kanter’s tweet from yesterday: “I’ve talked to him and I saw it.” Udoka said playing time is strictly based on basketball. Said he’s told Kanter he’s not playing partly because all the switching the Celtics do isn’t natural for him.

MY NOTE:  I love Enes Kanter as only an offensive rebounding obsessed fan can, but he's running the risk of becoming a locker room cancer.  I admire him for his stand on social issues but to suggest, publicly on twitter, that his coach/GM are limiting his playing time because of his stand on social issues borders on insubordination.  He should have spoken to Ime directly, face-to-face, and not "act out" on social media.  That was not cool.  I understand why he's frustrated, he's only played a grand total of 10 minutes this season so far, but Ime is a defensive-minded coach first and Kanter's defense is not based upon mobility (or anything else for that matter).  I now doubt he will be here after the trade deadline and it will be his choice as much as anybody else's.

It is just a matter of time before Enes will go to Brad and ask to be traded. He still has basketball left to be played, just does not seem to fit here in Boston. I think Brad thought he would be used more than he has been, so you cannot blame him for being itchy to get out there.

I love the guy, I wish it would work out here, he is great in the locker room

He can play and proves it… whenever he’s on another team.

Hard to imagine there’s not room for a center who can score and rebound, even with his defensive limitations.

If there is a trade for another big, he might be a complimentary piece to swap out.

Well we’re at that point that was inevitable, RWill is hurt and Al is 35.

Hope Kantor can play, he looked good last night, guess Bruno may get some time too….

IMO, Kanter should have been getting more minutes against every other team's bench all season. Maybe Bruno too, but Kanter has much more experience in the league.

I agree with Cow, our other two centers will need continuous load management.

#Free Kanter!!
