THUNDER COACH: PERKINS OUT 2-3 WEEKS

One of the lingering concerns with former Celtics center Kendrick Perkins was the health of his knees. He had anterior cruiciate ligament surgery on his right knee last summer and recently suffered a strained MCL in his left knee. Before the trade that sent him to Oklahoma City, the Celtics said he would miss the rest of their West Coast trip, but didn't offer any concrete timetable for his return.

Some of that mystery is now solved after Thunder coach Scott Brooks told reporters that Perkins will be out 2-3 weeks. Celtics president Danny Ainge told WEEI that he expected Shaquille O'Neal would return to the court before Perkins did. Shaq has been out with an Achilles injury.

Thanks for asking. Spirits a good. Right eye vision now at 40% and we have a few more tests to determine cause. She has a spinal tap scheduled for this week and will do DNA testing on fluid. They say some sort of virus. Just in the last 2 weeks I have heard a number of kids dying from bacterial or virual infections.

Got be real careful with young kids..my friend lost his son in college do to viral attack 2 years ago.
