Ray Allen stays in Boston

Celtics guard Ray Allen is the only player not on the team’s trip to Orlando Tuesday morning.

In addition to dealing with an ailing ankle that forced him to miss Monday’s first game against the Magic, Allen’s wife, Shannon, is also pregnant and the latest addition to the family is expected soon.

Hate to have Ray miss a game but you want that ankle back to 100%. I hope it's minor; the twin ankle surgeries he had prior to coming to Boston were the big concern when we traded for him.

And while you're hanging around at home Ray, make sure you've got the route to the hospital down and help Shannon make that final pick on a name. It wouldn't hurt to check out the crib and put some new batteries in the baby monitor while you're at it either!
