A player is only as good as how he applies his God given talent.

I am glad Rondo read his own press! And I hope he keeps looking over his shoulders!

Id trade Rondo for whoever + 2 boxes of flipside pretzel crackers.

I really like those crackers.

That's very creative trade! Did you put it through Trade Check to see if it works!

Listen as I stated in the beginning of this post, if Rondo runs the whole game you get games like this. If he walks it up the floor the majority of the time you get a game like LA or Toronto.

It get down to which Rondo you get in a given night.

There was some talk by Gary Washburn in Boston.com that Rondo was pissed at the Eastern coaches that he did not get selected to the All Star team. Who knows, and I hate in dealing with stories like that from 3rd parties sources but Rondo does have a trail of bad games when something affects him or his ego
I.E. The Perkins trade.

Rondo has his issues but I wouldnt want it any other way.

We also gotta remember he is not exactly on a max contract, the Celtics get lots of value.

Yes, the Celtics got a steal by signing him at $10 million + for 4 years. That in itself is a very attractive bargaining chip on a trade.

We would be good either way if he stays or goes.

If he stays, we get what we saw tonight however Danny would have to get young players to run with him to make him effective.

If he is traded, we will get a nice player(s) out of a deal. So the Celtics I believe are in the cat bird seat either way.

Rondo didn't have to worry about Rose today.

Wonder how much that played in his offensive mindset?

Good point, wonder if he gets a triple double with Rose playing?

Rose is a mediocre defender at best. If Rondo puts his mind to it, he could SCHOOL Rose...just like he can any other PG in the NBA.

He might have had a bit less stamina due to guarding Rose (who is also nearly impossible to stop), but the only one that can stop Rajon is Rajon himself.

Hope he gets himself together.

Rondo can get a triple double on Rose. It would be harder than on CJ Watson, but it is within Rondo's ability to be sure! Rondo would have to work harder on defense.

MD!
