Sixers Lou Williams is UFA
Lou Williams, of the Philadelphia Seventy-Sixers, opted out of his contract and is now an unrestricted free agent.
This kid can light it up, he can pass and is not turnover prone. He would be a great backup for Rondo.

Re: Sixers Lou Williams is UFA
Lou must think a lot of himself..turning down his player option in the $6 million plus range.
He won't be on the Celtics radar at that price.
I am still under the impression that Moore is on the rise. Doc has spoken very highly of him just like he did with Avery.
Lets not forget that he was a very good scorer at Purdue.

dboss,
You're probably right. That might be a bit rich for him. We're going to want to save our money for a big difference maker. I do like him a lot though.
I'd rather use him to back up Rondo than either Dooling or Moore.

The Biggest Difference Maker would be a new and fair commissioner to succeed Stern. I'm not talking puppet Stu Jackson either! Larry Bird, Bill Walton, or Bill Russell would be excellent choices. Tommy Heinsohn would be TOOOOOOOOOOOOO partial to the C's!

Williams was Missing in Action in the series vs. the Celtics. Clearly not a prime time player.
AND
He is one of those guys that when the ball rotates to him - it STICKS - and he either shoots or pounds it into the ground until he gets a shot.
Dont like his game at all.
