MRI result in for Marcus

Some minor damage, no surprise there, Dr. will be scheduling arthroscopic surgery in a couple weeks. Obviously there is no guarantee on this but he (Dr) feels it will be fine after. He thinks he should be able to throw very soon after not hard obviously.

Now he's on the golf course, yesterday he and a friend played a local course, on the par 5, 525 yard 7th hole he apparently drove the ball well over 350 yards (with burnt and hard fairways you get a big roll too) he was only an easy 8/9 iron from the green, up and on and 1 putt for an eagle!, tonight basketball games at 5 and 6 then a semifinal sr babe ruth game at 8.

I'm amazed Marcus is able to play baseball and basketball while awaiting the procedure. Please wish him all the best from my wife and myself.

Was it his rotator cuff? Rotator Cuff problems are fairly common for pitchers.

Not really sure... Dr simply put it out there that was some "minor' damage with a couple muscles. It was interesting to look at that scan.

I never have problems with my rotator cuffs, Rotate cuffs every 50 washes and they wear evenly, except when I make off the cuff remarks! (LOL)
