Jeff Green signing

Did I miss something or has Jeff Green NOT been signed yet? What's up with that? Is Danny trying to trade him for Ray Allen? (LOL)

Everyone's sort of wondering. I believe there's a post (very possibly from gyso with TJ weighing in as well) on another thread that says the Celtics cannot do a sign-and-trade with Green because he was not officially with the team at the end of the most recent season. Who knows what Danny may be planning. I guess we just have to have confindence that, whatever it is, it'll be in the Celtics' best interests.

It seems odd that Green has yet to sign a contract.

I cannot recall an instance where a player participated in a news conference that announced a contract agreement and then weeks later the deal has not been finalized.
