Looking for an update

I'm not trying to be a busybody but I was wondering if anyone knows how beat is doing.
He hasn't posted in probably many months.

I phoned Beat perhaps a month ago. He is fine but apparently has some issues that have made him back off from posting for a while. He specified that he wasn't out of sorts with any other poster(s) in particular, and I got the impression that it wasn't health-related. Frankly, I didn't want to pursue it more persistently. He did say he intends to resume posting, but he gave no indication of a possible timetable.

Beat's a really amazing person—one of my all-time favorites. He puts on no airs, says what he thinks, and would run through brick walls for his family and friends. I really miss his posts and the camaraderie with him.

Today is Beat's birthday. I sent him a PM wishing him Happy Birthday.

It took less than a New York minute, which is considerably shorter than a New Zealand minute. Something to consider...

Beat - if you are reading and not posting, I miss you terribly here on line. It has been a while, hope the kids are doing great and you are well yourself as well as your wife. I do know how time passes and things pile up.
