An example of a guy that knows names but not much history... Personally, I think Magic would have to get at least a slight nod over Bird, considering his versatility to play any position.

But then again, almost everyone I've talked to that's around my age thinks MJ is the greatest basketball player ever, period, which I think is debatable. They forget a certain guy named Pippen that really alleviated a lot of the burden on Jordan during their run.

I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion, though.
