Bulls Use Amnesty Provision On Carlos Boozer

The Chicago Bulls have used their amnesty provision upon Carlos Boozer.

Boozer was signed by the Bulls in 2010 as a free agent.

Boozer was drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers and then signed with the Utah Jazz as a free agent in 2004.

Pau Gasol was a nice replacement for Boozer.
Also, they signed Nikola Mirotic who is supposed to be an excellent shooting stretch 4.

True, but I am curious about the SF position. Unless they are just going to go forward with Gibson as their main guy.

McDermott and Dunleavy will be their SF's.
McDermott has looked very good in summer league.

Not only is he a PF, he's a throwback.  Solid mid-range game which he uses to set up his brutally physical inside game.

Boozer is a more veteran Sully before Sully fell in love with the 3.  Or maybe a more physical Bass (imagine that!).

I've always admired his game.  Not flashy, but gets the hard work done.  What a great pickup for a team that needs the one proverbial piece to complete a contending puzzle.
