The Nets Magic Number

I'm pinning my hopes on the Bulls beating Brooklyn. Now that Dwayne Wade is out, Rondo is unencumbered and can actually turn the Bulls into a winning team. Bulls can sweep the Nets.

The Lakers beat San Antonio in San Antonio.  There really is a God and she has a remarkable sense of humor.

The Magic Number vs Lakers is now 1.


The Suns are getting obliterated by GSW, so that number will remain at 2.

All we need is a win vs Bkln in Boston and have Chicago beat them once in their home and home. Then it doesn't matter what Phoenix does. It was announced today that DWade is coming back very soon for the Bulls when he was expected to miss the remainder of the season.

Lakers are out of the running. PHX will probably lose out and finish 22-60. If the Bulls can't help us Saturday then we will help ourselves Monday by handing the Nets loss number 61.

Good point. This loss by Brooklyn knocked the Lakers out of it. Their Magic Number was 1 before tonight. Now it's 0

Don't look now but Phoenix is leading OKC 71-48 at the half.  A lot of time to go in the game but not many teams overcome 23 point deficits after halftime.

Magic number could be ZERO after tonight.

Incredibly OKC didn't cut into that 23 point halftime lead at all and still leads 95-72 entering the fourth quarter.

Looks like we can relax.  No way Suns lose this one now.

Chris doesn't know what he is talking about. There are only 14 balls. We have been assigned 250 of the 1000 4-ball combinations of those 14 balls.

Since 2005, with 30 NBA teams, 16 qualify for the playoffs and the remaining 14 teams enter in the draft lottery. These 14 teams are ranked in reverse order of their regular season record and are assigned the following number of chances

Is it too soon to be looking at how the Nets will be NEXT season? I guess it is but let's hope they make some real dumb off-season moves and stink to the high heavens next year too!
