with you. Tj's cool just down for the purple is all. But dude knows his ball so let's move on...
It's bound to get chippy ever so often with Lakers people on the board. Sky got into a dustup or two. I for one have dug having them around and having met sky and mg can attest that they are both really top flight guys.
This is weird for me to say but if it's lakers cavs i am pulling for the Lakes.
Rosalie...much love. You are one of my fav posters.

You took me on after KG's "incident". It is obvious to me that you are not looking at alot of these subjects with an open mind. That is unfortunate for you. We, on this board, are all die hard Celtic fans. Some see the world through green glasses (like myself), others are more open minded. However, we all have one thing in common and that is that we all love the Celtics. I am sorry that it seems that you are so offended by these topics. However, it is what it is. Live with it or leave.
Rosalie,
I do like discussing various topics with open-minded Celtics fans. Based on your words above, you admit being not very open-minded.
Your comments about the Garnett suspension were emotional not logical and I asked you why Richardson deserved a suspension. I might disagree but I don't "take people on".
I have commented many times about the problems/issues the Lakers have had this year and how they are back in the pack with the rest of the Western Conference playoffs teams. I have also commented about the resurgence of the Celtics and how I think the Cavs series will be a battle and that if your boy Ray has a great series, he could be the difference maker.
I am well aware that 95+% of the people on this website are Celtics fans and that I must be respectful of that. By no means am I looking for equal representation for the Lakers.
I look forward to having many conversations with you whether they are on the Celtics or other topics.

Don't worry about it, NESF. Sometimes the best moderating involves allowing things to grind to a natural halt. Occasionally that includes a few people feeling the need to register residual opinions before all vestiges of the original issue disappear. I'm on it; and, if necessary, I find it's usually preferable to deal with such matters off the board to maintain the integrity of everyone's privacy.

I've hijacked this from BrandonBanks on another thread thinking it was better placed here with the caption;
"Who invited him?"

Jeb-
back at you buddy. I'm pulling for the Cs over the Cavs for the same reason. I'd like to see you guys win.
Good luck battling the King. Hopefully they won't be battling the refs alos. The refs reamed the Bulls repeatedly in that series. Here's hoping the Cs get fair treatment and that if they don't, then LBJ's elbow evens out any bad calls.

Preciate it. Currently watchin your Lakes stand pretty damn tall. Game 6 is pretty tight. I got a good gig today...out in sf.
And I played some epic ping pong today.

jeb,
Thanks. LA did a great job in games 5 and 6 adjusting to OKC pace/speed.
I agree that their road now gets easier. More so without Okur who had to be guarded at the 3 point line.
Kirilinko is still out and in trading away Ronnie Brewer in February, Utah lost their best defensive player against Kobe.
There is no guarantee SA beats Phoenix. Tony Parker is still nowhere close to the way he used to play.
LA plays well against Utah, SA and Phoenix, so I like their chances of getting to the Finals.
Looking forward to watching Boston vs. Cleveland! Should be fun.

Thanks Sam. Back at you, sir.
Looking forward to seeing KG, Perk and BBD "crown" King James in the best Celtic-hard-playoff-foul-tradition.

Great game to watch. Gasol's putback at the end was awesome. I'm glad it's over b/c I really like the Thunder (as you know) and now I can go back to enjoying their growth and development as a young team that plays the right way and always brings it.
AS for Utah, LAkers and OKC are Utah's worst matchups in the West. Gasol owns Boozer and Utah has no one to match up with LO or Bynum, so DWill is their only real advantage.
I think it's Lakers in 5, given Okur's out and AK-47 will be hobbled. Otherwise, given CJ Miles coming out party vs Denver last round and the way Wes Wathhews is playing (on top of the obvious big one- DWill), I would say LA in 6 or 7.
As for the Spurs, I think that series goes 6 or 7 for sure, and I thinik this might be the year PHX finally gets past them, as the Suns are actually starting to play some D. Should be another in a series of classic series between those two teams.

Re: You create the caption
congrats to the Lakers and their fans ... well deserved against a very plucky group of fearless youngsters ... agree that the lakers could well be on their way to the finals now.
too bad (from my point of view) that the nuggets picked the worst possible time to pull a fade, after a pretty strong season in which they took the season series againt utah.
too bad because a lakers-nuggets repeat would have been fun with a healthy nuggets team (which we didn't have when we needed it.)
Michael in Denver

Even with an HO scale version of an NBA player attached to his hip, LeBron still manages to have a strong game.
