I just watched an interview with Gary Washburn, Celtics Beat writer for the Boston Globe. He feels in the end, Hayward will opt in, and the Celtics will try to renegotiate, or he will just walk at the end of the season

Nesmith doesn’t really excel at anything other than shooting, below average defender and finisher according to reports. I would have went with Stewart or Precious, then we drafted a tiny player we could have gotten in second round...???
