He’ll be a designated sniper.

We’ll see what he can do, I’m not that excited about him, he looks kind of stiff to me.

Yam Madar at 47.

Could have taken Nico Manion among others.

I guess they must know what they’re doing. That or they’re giving a great lesson in how to piss off the fan base.

OK. I’m out.

Nesmith will both shoot and create great space for Jaylen and Jayson. The synergistic effect will produce great results for us.

(Sorry, I couldn't resist)

Very Happy

By the way, we had over 90 users on the site at one point last night during the draft. That happens a lot during special events, a 5-1 or better ratio of guests to members.

Curious as to why some of them don't join up in order to post. It's been going on throughout our history, but it still confuses me.

Here's a YouTuber that talks about the Nesmith pick.

I think he makes some good points, one of which was that Nesmith shot high percentages from the corners (45% from one and something like 55% from the other) and he said "all those open corner 3s Semi got will now be Nesmith's".  Well, he isn't a straight up replacement for Semi but Semi took 1.8 3pt fgas in 14.7mpg last year, 2.8 fgas total per game.  If Nesmith gets 15mpg this year I guarantee this sniper will take more than 2.8 fgas, it's what he does, and he will shoot better than the 37.8% Semi shot.  37.8% is ok, it's around the league average,  but unlike beyond the break, the college corner is exactly the same distance as the NBA corner.  He needs to learn Brad's defensive schemes, and work hard on defense, but he's already bolted in-place for today's NBA offense.

I saw an NBA comparison for Nesmith to Terrence Ross.  That would make him one of the best mid-teen picks we've ever had.
