You seem to be the one getting your shorts in a twist.

Jeb made a simple, accurate statement about Pau's minutes causing his hamstring issue and you go off on the Cs and their minutes.

The Cs minutes have nothing to do with it. Pau's heavy workload has caused him to tweak his hammy. It's beenmy concern all year with Phil iling the minutes on, and anyone watching the games can see that the heavy minutes caused this.

BSH,

You and jeb are assuming that Pau playing an extra 2 minutes per game has caused his hamstring issue. So, if he was at 37 minutes and not 39 his hamstring would be ok? He missed the first 17 games last season because of his hamstring and that was after resting. Ray Allen, Pierce, Garnett and Rondo have all increased their minutes but why is it only a problem when Pau increases minutes?

Tit for Tat.

(Who's Tat, and why does he get to have all the fun?).

The Lakers and the Celtics don't have the same teams. They have different types and levels of depth at positions, their starting players are different ages and have different recent injury histories. What's bad for the goose may have nothing to do with the gander and vice versa.

"Don't get all hyper sensitive about Delonte West. Boston picked him off of the scrap heap, he was almost cut a few weeks ago and he has played 87 minutes this year."

Very trollish pal. You are trending more and more troll and the reason I feel that way is classy paragraphs like the one above.

Your on thin damn ice with me slick.

Be aware of that. Thin damn ice.

What I said about West is 100% true.
No class? You fill this board with more obsenities then everyone here combined.
"The Gods are Sh***ing down the Celtics Neck Again"...

I am not here to ask you to change, so be it.
While I wish to keep things civil and friendly with everyone, I am not going to stop making reasonable statements because I fear that I might hurt your feelings.

Cheers.

Did anyone on the board ever watch the old "Gong Show," in which Chuck Barris (who turned out to be a U.S. spy in his day job) would introduce amateur acts and whack this gong to dismiss the really awful ones instantly?

I'm circling the gong on this thread, while reiterating my number one recommendation for how to operate effectively on this board: Don't let it get personal. I'm not singling anyone out. I don't feel any particular need to receive private explanations or "he said, I said" summaries. I can actually read quite well!!!!!

It's very simple. Don't let it get personal.

Thanks,

Sam

For me, I don't get the entire "Boston picked him off of the scrap heap, he was almost cut a few weeks ago" bit. That sounds like total fiction, especially the "almost cut" part. I'd like to see a link to ANY article that even hints at this.

The "scrap heap" may be your opinion, but that does not ring true either.

When Delonte was caught transporting the guns, all he was doing was moving them out of his mother's home (at her request and/or insistance) and taking them to his house. That is why he got off with a relative slap on the wrist and didn't get jail time or an entire season off. It was a bad decision to do it the way he did, late at night, loaded and on that 3-wheel motorcycle and all. He said that, upon looking back at it, yes, a bad decision. That act didn't send him to the "scrap heap", he would have gotten offers by lots of teams, it just ended up here as soon as he could sign a new contract. There wasn't any more offers because he signed here.

That is my opinion, FWIW.

gyso, do you suppose that slap on the wrist made Delonte more susceptible to his current injury? Just askin'.

I'm not making light of your remarks—just trying to inject a little humor into this thread, which has taken on some amazing (I have other, more vividly descriptive terms) dynamics.

Sam,

Too funny!! Maryland cops need to go easier with those slaps.

TJ

I do curse too much. Sometimes I do let my dislike of certain Lakers get the better of me (mainly Phil and Pau)

But you have now on two occasions with very careful wording that your passive aggressive ass can just back out of crossed a line with me. You cant uncross it.

I dont want anything to do with you and consider you so toxic I am giving deep consideration to leaving the board. With people that are really toxic there is no awareness and without awareness there will be no change. In those situations the only thing you can do is get away from the person. It's a lot of life that taught me that hard lesson but I learned it.
