Exactly, they have to know this, just not willing to make the move to keep him. If Springer is here in February, it will mean he has done something to improve his game. If not, he is on the trading block. I know he is okay defensively, but obviously Joe is not impressed enough to give him some meaningful minutes late in games

The Celtics need to cut their roster down to 15 players by Sunday and there’s a good chance Ward will be one of the players waived. One benefit of signing players to an Exhibit-10 deal is that the Celtics will then retain Ward’s G League rights once waived, meaning he can find himself playing for the Maine Celtics this year. So, now I am a bit confused, doesn't Walker have Exhibit 10 contract? So that will give the Celtics his rights???? This was on Celtics blog

Barring injury, the 2-way guys may not get much play in Boston.
