Youthfull Cavs team if they go with Wiggins.

Whether the Cavs keep, or trade Wiggins for Love, they will be a very young team next year. Certainly very talented  but a team that will be relying heavily on youth if they keep Wiggins and still a very young team even with Love. While better than average talent is a must for success its at its most valuable level when combined with several years of experience. So  don't be surprised if the championship eludes them for some time.

Above link is the record for the top 5 players from last years roster based on minutes played. Jack is no longer with the team. Varejao, while experienced has missed a lot of time in 3 0f the last 4 years. Only played in 31 games in 2012-13, 25 in 2011-12, and 25 in 2010-11. 2014-15 ??.

I would give it a 70 % backing because Love is not yet in that max talent- experience range. Its what Ainge did when he traded Jefferson and a bunch of kids for Garnett. It Added more talent and experience to a line up that already included Pierce and Allen. In addition, there is no guarantee that James will play more than 2 years in Cleveland and in the next 2 years I think that their chances are better with Love.

Fair enough.  It's definitely looking as though Love will be joining the Cavs, and I'd guess the odds are about 70/30 that Wiggins starts learning how to fish through ice.

If I was the Cavs I would keep Wiggins. Dont really feel Love is worth to give him up and more. They can probably trade one of their other young talents+a draft pick for some solid roleplayer.

Again, I'm hoping they do trade Wiggins for Love. Wiggins could make Cleveland a tougher EC opponent for years to come, whereas Love impedes LeBron's ability to shift to the 4, Love can't play the 5, and Love and LeBron probably won't be together for too long.

LeBron will play small forward/point forward with Cleveland.
I don't suspect that Love and LeBron will have any difficulty manning the two forward positions.
LeBron almost always guards small forwards such as Pierce, Wallace, Paul George, Carmelo, Rudy Gay, etc.

Yes TJ, Lebron will play the 3, but Love locks up the 4 and can't play the 5, reducing the Cavs flexibility, whereas Wiggins could play the 2 and 3, Lebron could play the 3 and 4, and they can go looking for help at the 5. Sure they'll be better this year with Love compared to Wiggins, but long term, no.

Nobody knows what type of career Wiggins will have.
If he doesn't show that he has a strong motor or drive, he could turn into Jeff Green.
Having a 26/12 guy locking up the 4 is not a bad thing in my eyes.
LeBron really doesn't play much PF.
He is really a guard/wing.
LeBron could play 10 min at PF, 20 at SF and 10 at PF if they want.
He is a very versatile player as you know.
You are allowed your opinion and maybe long term you will be right.
I am just thinking of the next couple of years.

The way the game is played now, athletic wings reign supreme. Durant, George, Lebron, etc. Wiggins has the talent to reach their level. Sure, we're making speculations here, but then again, a lot of the way this game progresses is from speculation. Prospects, and more specifically phenoms enter the league with expectations. Teams speculate which guys they want to play in their system, via draft or free agency/trades, same with GMs selecting coaches, etc.
