I agree with everything you wrote.

If Danny traded Baynes because he needed every last dollar for Walker, then our starting center may be an untested one, like Frenchman Poirier. If he traded Baynes because he needed some of that freed cap space to sweeten his offer to Horford, who reconsiders leaving when Danny replaces Kyrie with Kemba, then...We still may end up with the Frenchman but not as a starter, at least not this year.

I don't think we can sign Kemba and get Al to reconsider. As I understand things, the cap space for Kemba comes mostly from Al leaving, not from Kyrie leaving. I could be wrong though....maybe one of capologists can chime in...

Gordon. Then use our remaining cap space to sign Vuc. Hard-hearted, yes, but it could work for us.

Yes Bob, Kemba can score and dish, but can he throw temper tantrums, go non-communicative with teammates for weeks, be moody as hell, and defy 500 years of astronomical science? Kemba has big shoes to fill.
