Re: DRAFT THREAD 2015
Good news!
There's only 2 minutes to pick for the 2nd round. We'll get to 33 fast and I can settle in for a long, long night.

worcester, I just finished a big sake. I'm lucky I'm present, much less prescient.

Re: DRAFT THREAD 2015
The biggest win for us tonight was Brooklyn drafting a guy out for at least 6 more months with a torn ACL.
They could have drafted a ready to play upperclassman.
That means we have a much better chance of drafting top 10 next year. Brooklyn no longer thinking about "win now".

DraftExpress: According to a NBA executive Kevon Looney was red-flagged with a degenerative back as well as a hip issue. May require surgery down road.

Kevin Love doesn't play point guard or shooting guard, so the Celtics didn't go out of their way to draft at Kevin Love's position, even though Portis and others were there at 16, and other PFs there at 28

So, it's the "dog that didn't bark" theory.

Re: DRAFT THREAD 2015
Same could be said of every PF or C free agent in the NBA, but I do think Danny's hot for Love. Passionate.

when is 2 minutes not really 2 minutes. When you're waiting for the Celtics to pick.

Pretty nice.
James Young has a lot more upside than Hunter, and is about 30-40 lbs stronger. Hunter was probably picked for another team
I don't think so, although anything is certainly possible. I think Young is pretty much already written off as a reach made too soon.
It looks to me like we're strictly drafting for need. Point and a volume shooter being perhaps the biggest. I don't see where we would go if we traded rights to Hunter. An added second doesn't make sense and the last thing we need is more future picks.
It will be interesting to see if we now go for someone like Johnson.

With Harrell gone, the next best PF.
