Interesting that the Lakers could hold the key to the Celtics' draft. If they grab Russell, the smoke about a Celtics trade with Philly could become fire because Philly doesn't need another center (Okafor) and the Celtics do.

Well, if Philly takes Okafor, they'll have three centers—each on track for good paydays down the road—all taking up the same space on the depth chart. Will they be content to draft a third center just so they can expend time breaking up an even bigger logjam? We'll see.

On the Laker side, whatever hopes Kobe had of getting Rondo to LA just took a hit. Rondo will not play behind a rookie, even if he is the #2.

So much for my hope that the Celts might be able to trade up to draft Okafor. Doesn't matter. The bum can't play defense anyway. LOL. Maybe Nerlins now comes into play for the Celts.

Noel, Embiid, Okafur, Saric. That's a big frontcourt.
