Danny must think he's the next Isaiah Thomas. Looks like he's even more explosive than IT4.
43" vertical leap, and measured the fastest at the Combine 3/4 court sprint

Re: DRAFT THREAD 2015
The Hunter pick was good in we need a shooter. At #28 and his shooting talent, that was the bright side of what was a very a not so shinning evening.
No, Smart is not in any dog house, and when mentioned in the Cousin's trade that was expected as a big skilled man always trumps a skilled small man and so Danny had to offer Smart.
But I do think I. Thomas is in play (friendly contract and impact player) as part of a packaged trade deal and for that manner Turner as well, so Danny figured to grab a point guard before having to look for one down the road.

Re: DRAFT THREAD 2015
well I liked the Mickey pick at least.
the others don't make much sense unless Ainge has a deal in the works after the NBA year starts.
8 guards is a bit heavy.

Re: DRAFT THREAD 2015
Well how does that late season playoff run look now? Love what the Heat and Pacers accomplished with the 10th and 11th picks, Winslow could be a combo of Kwahi Leonard and Dwayne Wade and Pacers have Turner, a legit shot blocking big that could replace Hibbert or West and play with either. A shot blocking 7 footer with a mid range game can only help a franchise and we still have no all star or rim protector. Those 2 franchises were smart playing for the draft at the end of the season, when they knew their teams weren't ready for a playoff run. Lets hope Sully can lose weight and play more hard minutes, he's our closest piece that could be an all star if he ever gets his shit together. Larry Bird and Pat Riley are no dummies.

I still absolutely trust Danny's judgment. Rozier will turn out to be a long term huge plus for us.

No way Larry had the Pacers playing to lose. Not in his DNA.

Re: DRAFT THREAD 2015
well when Paul George wanted to comeback and finish the season, it was decided to hold him out as team had nothing to play for.

Re: DRAFT THREAD 2015
His health was still at risk. Larry was not tryying to lose, just protecting an asset.

the most baffling move was drafting another PG at 45, like hes gonna get any playing time? and just read Upshaw will be on the Lakers summer league team....how do you not take a shot at Upshaw or Johnson at 45 when you have 2 lame weak 7 footers like Zeller and KO on your roster?

so whos our best center next year? probably Sully as hes the only guy that can rebound and bang in the paint, and we all know he shouldn't be playing center.

Paul George was carried off the court by his Pacers' teammates after having a big setback with his leg.

Re: DRAFT THREAD 2015
Absolutely unbelievable that anyone could assume that the only drafted centers are NBA-certified. Nothing that happens after the almighty draft counts.

Re: DRAFT THREAD 2015
If Danny signs Lipez and/or Koufos then all this is so much premature ejaculation.
